Laboratory Information System Coordinator opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!
Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates for a Laboratory Information System Coordinator position. The Laboratory Information System Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the laboratory information system. They oversee the planning and scheduling of LIS related enhancements and projects. Coordinates training and development of Laboratory Information Systems, provides in-service and monitors competency of laboratory staff and other end users for maximum efficiency and quality of service.
Responsible for the operation of complex equipment and computers. Performs venipunctures and skin punctures competently and expediently. When needed is able to provide coverage for all sections and all shifts.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology. - Licensures, Certifications, Registrations:
National and State Licensure in Medical Technology - Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Proficient in many applications of the computer system to include word documents and spread sheets. - Experience:
Minimum of three years of professional laboratory experience in a hospital laboratory environment.
