What You’ll DoAs a Quality Engineer, you will lead the assurance of product quality and compliance, developing and monitoring processes, tools, metrics, and goals. You will own the SiMatrix Internal Audit System, Supplier Quality, and Quality Systems Training Programs.
Key Responsibilities- Own applicable Quality System related NCR/CAPA’s.
- Assist in other CAPA activities as directed, including complaint failure investigations and customer communications.
- Develop, implement, monitor and improve internal Quality Systems to support site objectives.
- Deliver training to support implementation of the Quality System.
- Support new product development through Master Validation Plans, PFMEA’s, Control Plans, and related activities.
- Apply ISO 13485 and FDA QSR requirements to processes.
- Analyze product and process quality data to recommend improvements (scrap reduction, complaint reduction, rework reduction).
- Follow SOPs and work instructions.
- Write validation and qualification protocols and assist with IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
- 3+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing role or equivalent education/experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA QSR requirements.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with validation and qualification protocols.
- Feature or Certified ASQ (plus).
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (plus).
- Lean Manufacturing experience (plus).
