Responsibilities- Provide direct services to children with special needs in the school setting.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school personnel to develop and implement individualized plans.
- Communicate behavioral and emotional observations to the treatment team and participate in team‑building meetings and activities.
- Utilize a wrap‑around approach to ensure the child’s success in both the school and home setting.
- Assist youth in developing coping skills, social/recreational skills, independent living skills, mediation and conflict resolution skills, and problem‑solving skills.
- A BS/BA Degree in a Human Services Related Field is preferred; equivalency may be used based on documented work history, education, and volunteer experience.
- Computer literacy, including navigation, record‑keeping, and basic skills required for performance‑based software and an electronic medical records system.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for teamwork, observation reporting, learning resident care methods, and following instructions.
- High School Diploma or HSE required, along with past employment experience.
- Valid Montana Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
