Medical Assistant

You see the medications on the table, the fall risks, the caregiver dynamics, the food insecurity, the missed follow-ups, and the small clinical changes that can become major health events if no one catches them early.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, field-based role. You must live in or near Passaic County, New Jersey as the position involves driving to and conducting member visits in their homes.

• Partner with Providers before, during, and after visits to support patient care.
• Be the friendly, trusted face members rely on during visits, helping with translation, gathering information, taking vitals, and answering questions.
• Perform phlebotomy and other essential medical tasks as directed by the Provider.
• Help close care gaps, review consent forms, and keep documentation accurate.
• Coordinate through electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Maintain medical supplies and ensure smooth, well-prepared visits.
• Support outreach efforts to schedule visits and strengthen patient engagement.
• Drive independently or with the provider to patient visits.

• You hold an active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) from an accredited program.
• You have at least 1 year of healthcare experience (home-based care a plus).
• You have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• You are fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills (required).
• You have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• You have basic computer proficiency; and are comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records (EMRs).
• You are able to walk up 3 flights of stairs and carry up to 40 lbs. of equipment.
