Medical Assistant​/EKG Technician – Cardiology

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Assistant / EKG Technician to join our busy cardiology practice. This is a cross‑trained position combining clinical/EKG responsibilities with front‑desk support.

• 1–3+ years of medical office/clinical experience
• Experience performing 12‑lead EKGs
• Athena One experience strongly preferred
• CMA/RMA/CCMA and BLS preferred
• Strong computer, communication, and patient-service skills
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and team‑oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced physician practice
• Willing to rotate between clinical and reception duties

• Room patients, obtain vitals, and perform EKGs
• Review and update patient information and documentation
• Maintain exam rooms and support efficient patient flow
• Check patients in and out
• Customer service; friendly
• Collect copays and verify referrals/documentation
• Schedule and reschedule appointments
• Assist with phones and other front‑office responsibilities
• Work closely with physicians and clinical staff

Monday–Friday,
between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., based on physician schedules.
