Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Position: Strategic Sourcing Specialist – Corporate Purchasing

Location: Remote (Iselin, NJ 08830)

Shift: Day shift, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $38/hr.

Note - Occasionally onsite visit is Mandatory! (Maybe one time in 2-3 Months)

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of contract negotiation experience required.
• People Soft experience required.
• CRMP certification required at hire or within 12 months.
• Travel within the client’s facilities as needed.

• Identify cost savings through contract negotiations with group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and vendors.
• Lead RFP processes and support departments with supplier selection.
• Source and negotiate supplier contracts across product categories.
• Engage domestic and global suppliers to support supply chain goals.
• Conduct supplier meetings and quarterly reviews.
• Share savings opportunities with Value Analysis and internal teams.
• Partner with departments to implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and manage pricing updates, renewals, and contract changes.
• Maintain contract documentation and coordinate with Legal to ensure complete procurement terms.
• Assist buyers with pricing issues and identify substitute products during recalls or shortages.
• Track and report cost savings, analyze supplier/category spend using Google tools, and support workflow improvements.
• Serve as a liaison for procurement-related inquiries and support product branding initiatives.
