We are seeking a Tool Maker Machinist to provide accurate tools and fixtures to support metal stamping presses.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools to produce tooling to produce precision parts
- Build and maintain tooling, fixtures, and gages used in production
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience using manual machinery, i.e. lathe, knee mill, drill press
- Familiarity with heat treating of tooling
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
