- The candidate will diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, perform repairs and maintenance, and ensure the optimal performance of water and wastewater treatment systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and repair pumps and pump motors.
- Assist in maintenance and repair of other mechanical equipment such as valves, clarifier and screen house systems, and chlorination equipment.
- Assists in the operation of equipment such as pumps, bar screens, clarifiers, digestors, sludge pumps, aerators, chlorinators, and control panels.
- Make readings and recordings of temperature, electric meters, weather conditions, and quantity of sludge removed.
- Check operating equipment for malfunctions.
- Performs general maintenance required to keep working areas safe, clean, and neat.
REQUIREMENTS
- Hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to maintain strong relationships.
