Educational Support Assistant – North Elementary (part-time)

Under the direction of the Principal or designee, this employee provides additional educational support for elementary students who are not performing at grade level in reading and math. Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials. Must have patience, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Must be reliable and dependable, and have a willingness to work and collaborate with peers.

• Provide educational support for elementary students not performing at grade level in reading and math.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning of materials.
• Collaborate with peers and school staff to support student success.

Ability to apply for and maintain a valid Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). The Office of Human Resources can assist with this process.

Beginning hourly rate: $16.99/hour and up, commensurate with related experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
