Long Term substitute assignment available - 7 hours per day. Under the direction of the Principal or designee, this employee assists in the supervision, care and instruction of students in grades K‑5 by monitoring student behavior, performing classroom tasks, providing information to appropriate school personnel, and assisting students on an Individual Education Program (IEP). Assist students in the social communications or multiple disabilities classroom.

• $16.00/hour holding an Educational Aide Permit with the ESEA endorsement

• $13.00/hour holding a standard Educational Aide Permit.

Endorsement
* eligibility criteria: (must meet one of the following)

• Associate’s degree or higher in any field.
• College/university transcript showing at least forty‑eight semester hours of coursework.
• Pass the Paraprofessional exam (exams can be scheduled at the District Office).

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Apply for and maintain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE).
