Under the direction of the special education teacher or designee, this person assists in the supervision, care, and instruction of middle school students on an Individual Education Program (IEP). The assistant accompanies students with disabilities into general education settings and/or resource room settings and assists with tasks.

Beginning hourly rate: $16.99/hour and up, commensurate with related experience. Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, disability and vision insurance, SERS retirement, free life insurance, and sick and personal days.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain and maintain a valid Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). The HR office can assist with the short application process.
