Engineering Manager

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, strategic engineering expertise, and the ability to manage projects, improve processes, develop talent, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives. • Lead and develop engineering teams, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management to drive individual and team success.
• Manage engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with company goals, budgets, and timelines.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, production, quality, and senior leadership teams to support organizational objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of engineering solutions and capital projects.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and technical procedures to ensure operational excellence.
• Monitor project performance, resource allocation, and key performance indicators to achieve desired results.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts for equipment, process, and operational challenges.
• Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditures, and engineering resource planning.
• Foster a culture of safety, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the engineering organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of engineering management or leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, automotive, consumer products, chemical, food & beverage, or related environments.
• Strong experience leading engineering projects, capital improvements, process optimization, or operational excellence initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with engineering systems, project management tools, and manufacturing technologies.

• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• MBA or Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• Experience leading multi-site engineering operations or large-scale capital projects.
• Background supporting highly automated manufacturing or process-driven production environments.

$120,000 to $135,000 per year
