2nd Shift EDM Operator – UPM Advanced Solutions

Join O'Neal Steel as a 2nd Shift EDM Operator in our Advanced Solutions Center. This role offers growth opportunities and the chance to work with specialty metals across the globe.

Base pay range: $23.00/hr – $25.00/hr

FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 pm – 1:30 am

Location: Hamilton, OH – On‑site

Sign‑On Bonus: $1,000 after 90 days

• Serve as a subject matter expert on customer manufacturing specifications to create machine programming.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate EDM Wire Cutters according to strict tolerances.
• Examine and measure completed units, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors.
• Exercise strong problem‑solving ability for the inspection and repair of machinery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 2+ years operating or programming manual, semi‑automated, or automated tools and machines.
• Proficient with measuring equipment including CMM, CAD/CAM, micrometers, height gauges, calipers, profilometers, etc.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and design sketches.
• Ability to create and maintain updated work processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse, manufacturing, or production planning environments.
