Reports To: General Manager – UPM Advanced Solutions
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $100k - $120k
Key Responsibilities- Lead manufacturing operations to ensure safety, efficiency, cost control, and on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement KPIs to drive production performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage and optimize resources, including equipment utilization, manpower planning, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, AS/ISO standards, and company safety policies.
- Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement, implementing Lean and 5S practices across operations.
- Oversee hiring, training, and development of 25+ employees, fostering a safe and positive work environment.
- Collaborate with Sales and Planning to meet customer requirements and maintain accurate lead times.
- Control operational costs, developing and tracking cost-saving initiatives for year-over-year improvements.
- Maintain quality standards, ensuring all products meet internal and customer specifications.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce PPE compliance to sustain an accident-free workplace.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Experience: 10+ years in manufacturing operations and 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Lean / Six Sigma Greenbelt certification required (or path to certification identified).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
