Full Time Physician Assistant – Hamilton, OHSchedule: 30‑40 hours per week. Wednesday and Thursday shifts until 6pm required with flexibility on other days of the week:
Monday 7am‑5pm, Tuesday 7am‑5:30pm, Friday 7am‑3:30pm.
DEA Required. Primary care and chronic condition management.
What You’ll Do- Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.
- Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
- Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
- Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
- Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
- Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date documentation and records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain state licenses/certifications to practice.
- Maintain Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable).
- Current NCCPA national certification required.
- Degree from ARC‑PA accredited program.
- Federal DEA license matching each state of practice as applicable.
- State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (list of states).
- Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services. - At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
