Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
- Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
- Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
- Explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
- Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Demonstrate how to use features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet.
- Understand Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate, and use these features.
- Handle returns following store policies; collaborate with leaders as needed to resolve guest needs.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store open hours as needed for guest service.
- Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) orders, and DU returns, while complying with applicable laws and policies.
- All other duties based on business needs.
- You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members.

- Open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays).
- Effective communication using positive language and attentiveness to guests needs.

- Ability to educate guests about products and services and engage around them.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment; work independently and with a team.
- Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks within time frames.
- Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office needs as required.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, with lifting requirements up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
- Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
- Work in varying temperatures and conditions in duties like Drive-Up and carryout as applicable.
