The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and nurturing relationships with a portfolio of key TIER 1 OEM customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and business growth. This role acts as the primary point of contact, driving strategic initiatives, identifying opportunities for expansion, and collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver tailored solutions that meet clients’ evolving needs.
Day In The Life- Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with strategic accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate.
- Understand each client’s business goals, challenges, and industry trends to proactively identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Coordinate with internal teams—including operations, engineering, product management, marketing, and customer service—to deliver seamless solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients, presenting performance metrics and aligning on future objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize mutual value and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Monitor account health, track key performance indicators, and develop action plans to address issues or capitalize on opportunities.
- Drive account retention and growth by upselling and cross‑selling relevant products and services.
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for enhancements and collaborating on product or service improvements.
- Stay informed about market developments and competitors to provide strategic insights and maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years’ experience in account management, sales, or client‑facing roles, ideally with strategic or enterprise accounts.
- Proven track record of building and managing high‑value relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
