STARTING DATE: As soon as possible

SALARY: Based upon the governing board-approved schedule

WORK YEAR: Full Time - 187 days, 8 hours per day

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The security monitor will serve as a security patrol, primarily when students are present.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative.

• Good mobility and physically capable of performing essential functions.

• Ability to work with adults and students.

• Must have a thorough knowledge of Ohio law, particularly as it relates to juveniles.

• Must submit a negative tuberculosis test result within ninety days prior to the date of hire.

• History of good job attendance.

• Must pass criminal background check.

Salary and work year as established by the Governing Board. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.

Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
