Accounts Manager

Your new role Our client, a well-established independent firm in West London, is seeking an Accounts Manager to join their close-knit team and play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses.

Key Responsibilities This is a hands-on position offering a mix of accounts production, personal tax compliance and advisory work, together with responsibility for managing and developing client relationships responsibilities include:
Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients Reviewing year-end statutory accounts prepared by junior team members Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns for directors and sole traders Providing tax planning and advisory support to clients Managing day-to-day client relationships and acting as the main point of contact Supporting the Partners with business development opportunities Supervising, mentoring and developing junior members of staff Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines What you'll need to succeed ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience) Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice environment Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and personal tax Experience managing a client portfolio Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team What you'll get in return Competitive salary and benefits package Flexible working arrangements Friendly and supportive working environment Broad and varied client portfolio Genuine opportunity for progression and increased responsibility Direct exposure to Partners and clients Long-term career prospects within a growing independent practice What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
