The Role

The Sales & Business Development Executive plays a crucial role in helping Environ Property Services generate new business, optimise existing opportunities, and protect job follow-through within the company’s operational framework. This is not just a sales role — it’s a safeguarding position that ensures no lead or job opportunity is left behind, increasing job conversion and revenue without compromising internal coordination.

Minimum Requirements:

* A business development / sales specialist with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in successful conversions.

* More than 3 years of experience the property services / maintenance industry.

* A hungry, self-motivated sales professional with a proven ability to close.

* Must have excellent communication skills (telesales environment beneficial)

* A confident communicator who isn’t afraid to follow up, negotiate, and close deals.

* A team player who can collaborate with surveyors, coordinators, and field teams to maximize opportunities.

* Comfortable using CRM systems to track leads and drive conversions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Chasing warm and cold leads—turning enquiries into confirmed projects.

* Champion outbound sales and local business prospecting.

* Secure the first engagement and manage new lead handover protocols.

* Following up on estimates—engaging clients after surveys to discuss next steps.

* Building strong relationships with facility managers and high-value clients for continuous work opportunities.

* Using our CRM system to track, manage, and convert leads efficiently.

* Spotting cross-sell and upsell opportunities across our five key services.

* Driving revenue growth - your success is our success, and we reward it generously.

Inbound (Hot) & Warm Lead Response

* Immediately respond to leads from marketing campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, website, social media).

* Handle referrals or returning clients efficiently using approved sales scripts.

* Qualify, log, and tag each interaction for CRM clarity and audit trails.

Cold Lead Generation & Outreach

* Actively target brand-new leads via cold calling, door-to-door introductions, emails, and strategic networking.

* Focus on managing agents, facility managers, landlords, developers, and estate agencies.

* Begin in Hammersmith & Fulham with planned expansion to surrounding boroughs and eventually London-wide.

* All leads must be logged in the CRM with contact history, status, next actions, and marked with “Sales Exec Origin”.

Pipeline “Mop-Up” & Safeguarding

* Review outstanding quotes, surveys, or proposals across all divisions weekly.

* Chase stagnant leads in CRM and identify any cases where surveyors or coordinators have not followed up.

* Notify relevant team members before stepping in — this protects commission rights under DDCS.

Internal Coordination & CRM Protection

* Collaborate with surveyors, coordinators, and directors to ensure commission disputes are avoided.

* Maintain clear records in CRM showing your lead origin, follow-up notes, and next steps.

* Implement and champion the Handover Protocol for warm/cold lead transitions across departments.
