Job Title: Student Assistant - Center for Faculty Excellence
Location: Hammond

The Center for Faculty Excellence Student Assistant will provide general office support to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering inquiries, assisting with correspondence, and maintaining accurate records of faculty participation in events using Excel. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

10-20 hours per week during normal business hours (8 am-5 pm); with flexible scheduling around classes.

• Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer general questions and provide information as needed
• Create and send email correspondence
• Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets for faculty event participation
• Answer and direct phone calls promptly and professionally
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

• PNW federal work‑study student

• Previous experience in a professional office setting preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study
