Essential duties and responsibilities include managing shift opening/closing, route printing, supervising warehouse staff, ensuring FIFO adherence, quality assurance, timely picking and loading, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will communicate with customers regarding delivery times or discrepancies and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Open and close the shift on a daily basis.
• Print and assign routes to employees to begin operations.
• Oversee all warehouse employees’ functions and adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Ensure quality assurance procedures are followed, including product rotation and cycle counts.
• Coordinate picking and loading of all products in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean and organized cooler, freezer aisles, and dock areas.
• Communicate with customers/clients if issues arise regarding delivery times or order discrepancies.
• Maintain general warehouse cleanliness and a well-organized physical environment.
• Ensure procedures address possible theft and comply with safety regulations (OSHA and related).
• Assist in reducing financial loss related to damaged products.
• Supervise correct labeling of products per purchase orders and report discrepancies to supervisors/management.
• Inspect equipment for shortages or damages and report findings for quick resolution.
• Ensure equipment (Electric Pallet Jacks, Forklifts, Scanner Guns) are charged by end of shift.
• Serve as Warehouse Supervisor in their absence as assigned.
• Ensure products leave the warehouse in good condition and that no truck departs with missing or extra product.
• Cover for missing employees as needed; in emergencies, ensure orderly evacuation.
• Have skills to clean hazardous spills and perform related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in administration, retail, merchandising, supply chain or related field preferred; equivalent education/experience acceptable.
• 2–3 years of warehousing or supply chain management experience.
• Exceptional leadership and directing abilities.
• Understanding of finance, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Ability to coordinate work with internal and external staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
