$3000 Sign-On Bonus (based on EFDA Certification)

Hammond Family Dentistry (Heartland Dental supported office) is looking for an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. Indiana X‑Ray and EFDA license required.

Schedule
Monday 7:45am‑5:15pm
Tuesday 8:30am‑7:15pm
Wednesday 7:45am‑5:15pm
Thursday 6:30am‑3:15pm

• 8‑person collaborative team
• Located at the corner of Indianapolis and 173rd Street
• Patient care is the #1 focus

• Support the clinical treatment care of patients
• Organize and maintain lab equipment
• Take, review, and develop X‑rays
• Provide comprehensive post‑operative dental procedures
• Take and record medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
• Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies
• Improve clinical skills through participation in continuing education and training opportunities offered by Heartland Dental

• Positive and outgoing personality
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent patient care skills and strong organizational skills
• Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Manual dexterity and computer proficiency
• Ability to travel at least every other month for training (occasionally overnight)
• Dental assisting school certificate (plus)
• Previous dental practice experience (plus)
