$3000 Sign-On Bonus (based on EFDA Certification)
Hammond Family Dentistry (Heartland Dental supported office) is looking for an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. Indiana X‑Ray and EFDA license required.
Schedule
Monday 7:45am‑5:15pm
Tuesday 8:30am‑7:15pm
Wednesday 7:45am‑5:15pm
Thursday 6:30am‑3:15pm
- 8‑person collaborative team
- Located at the corner of Indianapolis and 173rd Street
- Patient care is the #1 focus
- Support the clinical treatment care of patients
- Organize and maintain lab equipment
- Take, review, and develop X‑rays
- Provide comprehensive post‑operative dental procedures
- Take and record medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
- Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies
- Improve clinical skills through participation in continuing education and training opportunities offered by Heartland Dental
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent patient care skills and strong organizational skills
- Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Manual dexterity and computer proficiency
- Ability to travel at least every other month for training (occasionally overnight)
- Dental assisting school certificate (plus)
- Previous dental practice experience (plus)
