Description
General Role and Responsibilities: Ensure full and appropriate implementation of IEPs and provide assistance to general education teachers and other service providers in the general education setting.
Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree;
Indiana Teacher’s License-Exceptional Needs Mild Interventions or Intense Interventions.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement education for students with mild disabilities and/or autism.
- Develop and implement IEP services for students.
- Participate in case conferences to develop measurable IEP goals, benchmarks, and objectives.
- Monitor the implementation of IEP services regularly.
- Inform teachers and providers of their responsibilities related to IEP implementation.
- Ensure accommodations are provided on assessments.
- Manage and maintain records.
Skills and Knowledge: Ability to work with students with moderate to severe cognitive disabilities in a self-contained setting.
Qualifications and Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree;
Indiana Teacher’s License-Exceptional Needs Mild Interventions or Intense Interventions.
