Evaluation Period: Annual

The Occupational Therapist leads the development, implementation, and coordination of the occupational therapy program. Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, educational planning, transition planning, therapeutic intervention, and exit planning for students with disabilities affecting daily activities or occupations.

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy
• Valid State Certification as per Indiana PLA
• School OT services and evaluation experience preferred

• Provide occupational therapy interventions based on IEP/ISP goals
• Participate in IEP case conferences
• Monitor student progress
• Conduct evaluations as needed
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy into classroom activities
• Communicate regularly with parents
• Develop solutions based on research and professional judgment
• Refer to community resources as needed
• Complete required documentation timely and organized
