Ascent Hospitality is looking for a uniquely qualified hospitality leader to be our Laundry Attendant! The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and care of all hotel guest room linen and terry. For full‑service hotels with Food and Beverage outlets, this would also include Food and Beverage linen. Coordinates with Housekeeping Management on inventory levels of all linen and terry to ensure linen pars are maintained on guest floors.

• Receives soiled linens from laundry chutes and laundry carts.
• Sorts, washes, dries, folds dirty linen and terry and properly stores clean linen (requires loading/unloading heavy wet laundry to/from machines).
• Coordinates and distributes all cleaned linen and terry for housekeeping and F/B staff (as applicable).
• Operates Laundry Equipment – washer, dryer, flat iron, iron, and board (as needed per guest request).
• Stocks all cleaned linen and terry in appropriate areas.
• Maintains updated daily inventories of linen and terry to meet hotel department needs.
• Replenishes laundry supplies from storage as directed.
• Keeps all department areas clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping in the laundry area.
• Maintains cleanliness of washers and dryers (cleaning lint trays, dryer vents, and wiping machines).
• Works with cleaning chemicals.
• Adheres to OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Assists in other housekeeping areas as needed.
• Responds to customer needs for housekeeping within 10 minutes.
• Uses guest name at all times on guest floors and upon entering occupied rooms and in public areas.

• Must understand, read, write, and speak basic English & communicate with Team Members and Guests.
• Must apply common sense to carry out simple step‑by‑step instructions.
• Must comply in standardized situations with minimal variation.
• Must be available for flexible shifts.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Can work without constant supervision.
• Works well as part of a team.

• Standing for long periods, using arms, hands, and legs repetitively; pulling objects; reaching; stooping, kneeling, crouch, or crawl; walking, climbing or लेना. Ç
• Must work with cleaning chemicals and in warm temperature conditions without dust allergies.
• Regularly lifts and/or moves wet laundry up to 10+ pounds; frequently up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Requires close, distance, and color vision.
• Operates under mentally and physically stressful conditions.

• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Some related experience or training preferred.
• Must work in a team environment.
