As the Branch Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in building on the branch’s current success, mentoring and empowering your team, and ensuring our culture of customer service excellence continues to thrive. You will oversee warehouse managers, the dispatcher, and delivery professionals, work closely alongside the inside sales team to drive branch performance, and leverage your operational experience to maintain and improve efficiency across all areas.

Prior warehouse and distribution experience is required.

• Operational experience overseeing warehouse, dispatch, and delivery functions.

• Lead the successful Hammond branch and build on existing operational performance.
• Mentor, develop, and empower warehouse managers, the dispatcher, and delivery professionals to reach their full potential.
• Oversee dispatch, inside and counter sales, warehouse operations, and delivery to maintain efficiency and excellence.
• Work closely with the inside sales team to support customer relationships and drive branch growth.
• Meet with customers and vendors after hours to build strong relationships and support branch growth.
• Allocate tasks to enhance team members’ skills while maximizing productivity.
• Monitor reporting and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Lead sales activities and collaborate with the inside sales team to grow market share.
• Manage branch P&L and budget in coordination with the CFO and Senior Director of Operations.
• Foster a culture of trust, respect, and teamwork while recognizing and celebrating team achievements.
• Conduct performance reviews, evaluations, and development plans for your team.
• Organize team events to reinforce culture and alignment with company values.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a safe work environment for all team members.

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years in distribution, wholesale, or related experience.
• Operational experience overseeing warehouse, dispatch, and delivery operations.
• Previous experience with SX Enterprise or other point of sale systems.
• Proven ability to mentor, coach, and empower team members.

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds.
• Requires visual, hearing, and speech acuity.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, fumes, and elements.
• Ability to operate office equipment with hands.
