DISTRIBUTION CENTER ASSOCIATE– JOB DESCRIPTION
Distribution Center Associate Responsibilities :
The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for receiving deliveries, storing inventory in its designated areas, and pulling andpackingforoutgoingorders. In additional,the Distribution Center Associateisresponsibleformaintainingqualitycontrolof inventory. The Distribution Center Associate reports directly to the Distribution Center Manager.
Distribution Center Associatedutieswillinclude ,butarenotlimitedto:- Receiveincomingordersandverifydailypaperwork
- Organizeproductforbackstock,followingguidelinestomaintainqualityusingFIFOandmaintainingproper inventory levels
- Buildpalletsofordersforliquorstoresandother Companybusinessesuponrequest
- Climbladderstostockproductindesignatedareasofthedistributioncenter
- Maintaininventoryusingavailabletoolsandresources
- Deliverproductstoliquorstoresandother Companybusinessesuponrequest
- Assistinconductingaphysicalinventorycount
- Pullordersfromthecomputersystem
- Treatvendorsandco-workersinafriendly,courteous manner
- Maintaingeneralappearanceandcleanlinessofthedistributioncenter
- Operatevehiclesinamannerconsistentwiththe Driving Policyofthe Company ;maintaindistributioncenter delivery truck
- Maintain clean Motor Vehicle Recordthroughoutemployment
- Otherdutiesasassignedbymanagement
Qualifications:
- High School Diplomaorequivalent
- Mustbeover
21 - Abletoobtain Liquor Licenseandcomplete Indiana Server Training Program
- Liftupto
50pounds - Stand,bend,lift,andclimbladders forlongperiodsoftime,upto 10 hours
The Distribution Center Associateisafulltimepositionandcanworkupto
40hoursperweek.
