Schedule:

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 (depending on experience)

Qualifications

• 3 years of accounting experience
• An accounting degree in preferred

Preferred Skills

• Analytical skills with the ability to learn new software programs.
• Excellent mathematical skills and a working knowledge of Excel.
• Understanding of general ledger accounting principles, including accrual and amortization transactions.
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members.

Job Description

• Code transactions and post journal entries.
• Support accounts payable and receivable staff to properly record transactions.
• Prepare bank, credit card, and petty cash reconciliations.
• Analyze transactions to identify discrepancies and solve issues.
• Perform reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain additions and disposals on asset schedules.
• Assist with sales tax and property tax reports.
