Representative – Customer Service at Wesco
Base Pay Range$18.19/hr – $22.73/hr
Job DescriptionAs a Customer Service Representative, you will respond to customer inquiries by telephone, e‑mail and/or walk‑ins to provide inquiry or problem resolution. You will resolve mostly routine and some non‑routine, more complex problems and communicate the solution or requested information to the customer. You will analyze a customer’s service needs and refer to other service or technical departments for follow‑up as needed.
Responsibilities- Support the customer base by answering questions, concerns, account inquiries and handling customer complaints.
- Process payments for cash account customers.
- Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other departments when necessary.
- Provide backup support to the sales counter with walk‑in and telephone inquiries.
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree (U.S. preferred).
- 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Solid interpersonal skills that allow you to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, and e‑mail.
$18.19 – $22.73 per hour. Offer amounts may vary based on geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, shift, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements. Eligible positions may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents.
