Applicants must be licensed in Louisiana as a CLS Generalist, CLS Technician, or CLS Specialist in Immunohematology, Immunology or Chemistry.

Position Details- POSITION TITLE: Medical Technologist
- DEPARTMENT: Testing Laboratory
- IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Laboratory Director
- DATE NEEDED: Immediately
Position s primary purpose:
Serological testing of donor units and apheresis products in accordance with the guidelines of regulatory agencies and the training of new processing techs.
- Education: A BS degree in medical technology or BS in Science with appropriate certification in MT
- Specific
Skills:
Word processing knowledge and the ability to recognize and resolve discrepant results in testing - Licenses: MT(ASCP) or BB(ASCP), LA CLS-G license
- Experience: Medical Technology experience in blood banking, clinical chemistry, immunology or molecular testing
