Certified Nursing Assistant/Resident Assistant (Summerfield of Hammond). Come join our team! Come work in our award-winning Assisted Living Community. Summerfield of Hammond is looking for dedicated and compassionate CNAs/RAs to provide the highest standard of care excellence to our residents. We are hiring full-time/part-time for 3-11pm. Rate CNA - $14.00, RA - $12.00 hourly with a Shift Differential on the weekends.

• Assisting residents with ADLs and various forms of daily care according to their specific needs
• Monitor and document vital signs per policy
• Assist in maintaining resident care records by documenting timely and appropriately in the electronic record system
• Provide companionship and positive interaction daily with residents
• Work with other departments to provide a full scope of care to our residents daily

• CPR certification is a must
• Ability to take vital signs, document and report to nursing staff as applicable
• Prior experience in working with geriatric population if preferred
• Physical ability to walk, stand, bend and lift
• Must be able to socially interact with residents in a compassionate and meaningful manner
• Dependability, punctuality and good work ethic is an absolute must

Pay rate: CNA - $14.00/hour; RA - $12.00/hour with a weekend shift differential. This is a full-time position. Pay Range: $12.00 - $14.00 hourly.
