Full-time position responsible for overseeing hospital operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead facility management staff and consultants in developing and executing a comprehensive business plan covering all aspects of hospital operations, including setting priorities, assigning jobs, monitoring activities, communicating policies, evaluating performance, providing feedback, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor nursing care delivery, support department operations, maintain facility cleanliness and appearance, boost staff morale, and ensure resident needs are met.
- Build positive relationships with government regulators, residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the community. Serve as a resource on healthcare issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service internally and externally, supporting the company's health and rehabilitation service initiatives and business goals. Use survey feedback to improve service quality.
- Ensure optimal utilization of support resources and foster high interdepartmental teamwork.
- Maintain compliance with all governmental regulations and standards.
- Monitor HR practices to ensure legal compliance, high staff morale, and retention through effective communication, prompt problem resolution, proactive supervision, and staff development programs.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to maximize occupancy, payor mix, and ancillary revenues, including exploring new business opportunities aligned with community needs.
- Support safety and infection control policies and promote resident rights, fostering positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulatory bodies.
- Supervise and participate in staff training, department meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Degree and/or experience in Physical Therapy, Hospital, Nursing Home, or Assisted Living setting.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- At least five years of recent hospital therapy management and supervisory experience.
- Proven leadership skills aligned with client values.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable regulations and compliance processes.
- Awareness of current industry trends affecting healthcare and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
