The Task Associate (TA) drives operational excellence to support sales. Responsibilities include keeping fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks to uphold the Ulta Beauty experience. The TA supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on performance metrics, people, and procedural compliance.

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by executing tasks and ensuring product availability.
• Meet compliance and execution goals on the task dashboard and complete all operational processes such as shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

• Create an inclusive environment for teammates and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to enhance professional development and sales performance.

• Know and comply with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to the dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty technology.
• Maintain assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced; ensure testers are available.
• Keep the store clean, including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
• Follow loss‑prevention best practices to protect company assets.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma preferred.

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent through education and experience preferred.

• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale, Apple devices).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem‑solving skills.

• Work a flexible schedule, including early morning, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Continuous or frequent lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
