As a CDL Driver
, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight.

Pay: $21.00/Hr.
Shift(s): 1st shift Monday - Friday (some Saturdays) 7:00 a.m. – Finished.
Location: 43376 Happywoods Rd, Hammond, LA, 70403.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within (# of miles) making about (# of routes) routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (# of hours) shifts.
• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred.

Work Environment:

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a vehicle cab for entire shifts of varying lengths in time.
• The noise level in the work environment depends on location.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes).
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
