The Assistant General Manager helps the General Manager ensure that day-to-day business operations run smoothly. This position provides an opportunity for entry-level managers to learn important management skills and practice judgment and discretion skills.

• Confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates, assigning specified work, focusing on store level operation performance, coaching, and developing shift supervisors.
• Perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Address issues in a timely fashion.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain awareness of all applicable brand standards and procedures to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.
• Ensure that the restaurant always looks clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and processed daily; reports delivered as per company directives.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
• Ensure inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.

• Passionate about helping people learn and grow the business.
• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Flexible and open work schedule.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.
