Reeb Millwork, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Field Service Tech with Carpentry experience to join our VALUES based organization. In this position the territory covered is surrounding Hammonton, NJ. This position would be responsible for door installs, repairs, and warrantee work for customers.
Responsibilities andEssential Functions:
- Travel to jobsites and make repairs to products in the field.
- Take direction from the Field Service Coordinators.
- Perform all required communication (verbal, written, and electronic) expediently.
- Update service information in real time through the mobile application.
- Enforce vendor warranty policies and guidelines
- Gather information to accurately define problems and access multiple repair scenarios to determine the best solution.
- Share manufacturer’s warranty and operation procedures with homeowners.
- Work with a variety of materials and tools in varying environmental conditions requiring extreme care.
- Maintain and protect the company issued truck, equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Adhere to SBP policies and procedures.
- Must exhibit attention to detail and superior craftsmanship.
- Actively offer suggestions to improve productivity and quality of the service group. Identify root cause of issues on services performed and provide feedback on root cause through mobile application.
- Inspect and provide quote on service-for-a-fee jobs.
- Two to four years of building products, production industry or construction experience.
- Technical knowledge of procedures required to repair and maintain SBP products
- Knowledge of SBP products’ installation techniques and procedures.
- Outstanding craftsmanship. (Experience in finish carpentry with an emphasis on millwork and trim is preferred.)
Starting pay $28.00/HR - $32.00/HR. based on experience.
