Are you an experienced Site Engineer with strong highways experience across drainage, earthworks and road construction?
A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking for a Site Engineer to join a major highways project in Hampshire on a freelance basis.

The Role
You'll be responsible for supporting the delivery of key civil engineering works, with a strong focus on drainage, earthworks and road build, alongside the coordination and management of subcontractors on site.

Key responsibilities:

· Setting out and surveying for drainage, earthworks and road construction

· Supporting the delivery of highways and civil engineering works

· Managing and coordinating subcontractors

· Completing QA, ITPs and as-built records

· Working closely with Site Management and the wider engineering team

· Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme
Requirements

· Proven experience as a Site Engineer on major highways projects

· Strong experience across drainage, earthworks and road construction

· Experience managing and coordinating subcontractors

· Strong setting-out and surveying skills

· CSCS

· Relevant civil engineering qualification
