60 is looking to recruit a Training Delivery Instructor - Pipe fitter Engineering to work for a leading Educational and Training company based in Gosport.

PAY RATE: 40k Per Annam

JOB TYPE:

LOCATION:

Gosport, PO12

HOURS:

Full time, Monday to Friday - Pam to 5:30 PM (37.5 Hours/Week)

THE ROLE:

Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster by mentoring the next generation of Royal Navy engineers, leveraging your professional experience without the need for prior teaching experience.
Support the delivery of training across the Coppersmith/Pipefitter skills area within the Skill of Hand Training group.
Provide training on fitting pipework on ships from drawings (fit from design) and teach brazing techniques.
Maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues within the Marine Engineering Electrical training area.
Support trainee development through assessment, feedback, and personalised learning approaches.
Maintain and update training materials and contribute to modernising and improving training delivery.
Ensure compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and safety standards while maintaining a CPD portfolio.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in an Engineering discipline
Proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
Competent practical Copper smith/Pipe fitter hand skills
Proven experience in workshop/industry principles
Level 4 Teaching Qualification / DCTS Defence Train the Trainer Course or equivalent (desirable)
Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian engineering environment (desirable)
