The Role The business is now on the lookout for an Event Manager to help them achieve their ambitious growth plans! This is a broad role where the Event Manager will use all of their event and project management skills and experience, including;
Duties will include:
• Manage and lead a mix of small and large scale international and UK based event projects.
• Take client briefings, consult on budgets and manage the wider team.
• Create client proposals and present when necessary.
• Planning, organising and managing resources accordingly
• Sourcing and liaising with external suppliers, including DMC’s, venues, etc.
• Overseeing delegate registration and logistics
• Taking full responsibility for the budget
• Managing the onsite delivery of events The Candidate The ideal candidate for this Event Manager position will have a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a similar role, ideally with experience either within an agency and has worked on a large variety of clients. As an Event Manager you will have worked directly with clients and be able to demonstrate the delivery of an event from start to finish whilst managing sizeable budgets.
