Our client is looking for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team, providing hands-on maintenance expertise while supporting the day-to-day running of the Maintenance Department.

You'll be responsible for supervising maintenance activities, supporting technicians and contractors, ensuring high Health & Safety standards, and helping to keep site facilities operating safely and efficiently.

The Role

* Supervising and supporting the Maintenance Team

* Planning and prioritising routine and corrective maintenance

* Supporting contractors, shutdowns and project work

* Ensuring Health & Safety and compliance standards are maintained

* Identifying opportunities for plant improvement

* Ensuring maintenance systems and documentation are kept accurate and up to date

* Taking responsibility for day-to-day maintenance performance

The Candidate

* Instrumentation qualification - Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3

* Good working knowledge of electrical systems

* 4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity

* Experience with in oil & gas or a similar industry

* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* Strong problem-solving ability

* Proactive, reliable and able to work under pressure
