Service Manager

We are recruiting for a Service Manager to join a well-established automotive garage in Alton, Hampshire. This is a distinctive opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role, overseeing daily operations while driving customer satisfaction within a forward-thinking company.
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing the service department, streamlining processes, and motivating the team to achieve excellence.

Duties:
 
* Managing inbound and outbound customer communications effectively
 
* Coordinating and scheduling service bookings in your role as Service Manager
 
* Handling customer bookings, payments, and ensuring the completion of mechanical work
 
* Assisting in the implementation of new systems to enhance operational efficiency
 
* Overseeing daily garage operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high service standards
 
* Leading initiatives to streamline office procedures and support business growth
Requirements:
 
* Proven experience as an automotive Service Manager, senior service advisor, or equivalent managerial role within the motor trade
 
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy service department
 
* Adaptability to new systems, especially in a modern, technology-driven environment
 
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach
 
* Leadership qualities with the capability to motivate and direct a team
 
* Demonstrable ability to manage operational activities effectively in the role of Service Manager
