The Company

We are recruiting on behalf of a high-performance engineering business based in Hampshire, operating at the cutting edge of precision metallic component manufacture for elite motor sport and racing applications. The Role

* Programming CNC machining centres using Hypermill CAD/CAM software — including 5-axis toolpath development

* Setting up and proving programmes on Mazak machining centres

* Producing high-precision metallic components to tight tolerances

* Spending time on the shop floor proving programmes and overseeing machine operation

* Working closely with the engineering team to optimise machining strategies and efficiency

The Candidate

Essential:

* Proven CNC programming experience using Hypermill

* Experience setting and operating Mazak machining centres

* Strong understanding of 3-axis and 5-axis machining strategies

* Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings

* Detail-focused with a commitment to quality and precision

Desirable:

* Hypermill 5-axis qualification or equivalent

* Background in high-performance, motor sport, aerospace, or marine manufacturing

* Experience proving programmes on the shop floor
