Connect2socialwork are urgently looking for a Social Worker to join their great Mental Health Social Work Team with a Pay rate up to £38 per hour on a locum basis.

Job Description ;

Provide support and therapy to individuals and families experiencing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, or substance misuse, using a strengths-based approach.
Conduct assessments (psychosocial, risk, care needs) to establish diagnoses and identify required support.
Develop and monitor individualised care plans, in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Undertake crisis intervention and risk management, safeguarding vulnerable individuals using frameworks like the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, or Care Act.
Advocate for clients' rights and coordinate with community, statutory, and voluntary services to ensure access to resources and promote social inclusion.
Provide therapy and counselling through one-to-one or group sessions using evidence-based models such as CBT or DBT. [
Maintain accurate records, case notes, progress documentation, and adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards.
Support carers and families, offering psychoeducation, emotional support, and inclusion in recovery planning.
