A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Expeditor to help keep jobs moving efficiently through the production process. This role plays a key part in coordinating workflow, tracking jobs, and supporting shop floor teams to ensure deadlines and production goals are met.
What You’ll Do- Track parts and jobs as they move through manufacturing operations
- Follow work orders through machining, inspection, and final completion
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and collaborate with teams to resolve delays
- Communicate job status updates to supervisors and leadership
- Support, motivate, and engage shop floor personnel to meet production timelines
- Build strong working relationships across departments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working on the shop floor and interacting with production teams
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage and track multiple jobs at once
- Background in a manufacturing or production environment
- Personable, supportive, and motivating communication style
- Experience coordinating workflows or production schedules
$62,000 - $72,000 a year
