Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) – Hampstead, MD
Job Overview: As a Field Merchandiser you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00–$17.00 depending on skills and experience.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 6–8 hours.
- Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products in various retail stores using a mobile device for inventory management, reporting, and communication with your supervisor.
- Holiday support: additional hours during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including occasional work on the actual holiday.
- Department resets: participate in installations, fixture building, and department relocations, typically notified two weeks in advance. Tasks may include evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: support other merchandisers as needed in your territory.
This is a physically demanding job that requires the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Physical ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Comfortable operating a digital handheld device for reading documents and interpreting information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores on schedule.
