Join the Municipality of Clarington as a part time Facility Operator and support vital recreation facilities. This front-line role encompasses diverse maintenance responsibilities and staff guidance.

As part of this newly established position, you will report to the Facility Supervisor and engage in crucial operations across various facilities. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment compliance, maintaining cleanliness, and conducting seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow removal. Your commitment to high-quality customer service will enhance the recreation experience for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations at recreation facilities

• Ensure compliance of equipment operations

• Maintain the quality of ice surfaces and pool water

• Assist in the facility's preventative maintenance program

• Conduct cleanliness checks and maintenance

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Secondary School certificate

• First Aid and CPR “C” certification required

• General knowledge of maintenance tasks

• Class “G” Ontario Driver’s License

• Current WHMIS certification advantageous
