Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Intellistars ABA

Join a compassionate team dedicated to improving the lives of children with developmental disabilities. The RBT works closely under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.

Base pay range

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour.

Job Summary

The RBT will implement behavioral interventions, collect data, maintain detailed documentation, and collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each client’s care.

Duties
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.
  • Assist in developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client’s care to ensure a cohesive approach.
  • Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment for clients.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.
Skills
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and documentation.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children.
  • Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively.
  • Ability to educate clients and families about behavior management techniques.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed medical records and care plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members and families.
  • Passion for helping others improve their lives through effective behavioral therapy.

Preferred address:
Acworth, GA 30102. Candidates must be able to commute to or relocate to this location before starting work. Willingness to travel (up to 25%) is preferred.
