Lincoln Akerman School (Hampton Falls School District) is actively seeking experienced, qualified candidates for the position of Principal, effective July 1, 2026. Lincoln Akerman is a Kindergarten through 8th grade school currently serving 185 students located in the charming seacoast town of Hampton Falls. Hampton Falls is located approximately one hour from Boston and fifteen minutes from the New Hampshire seacoast.
The Lincoln Akerman School provides its students with unique educational opportunities in a small and caring learning environment. In addition to academic classroom programs, students have the opportunity to participate in Foreign language, Chorus, Physical Education, and Art. They also participate in various extra-curricular activities including interscholastic athletics.
The school is fortunate to have very involved parents, an active PTO, and a supportive community that partners with staff to ensure that students meet or exceed their potential.
The administrative team at Lincoln Akerman also includes a Special Education Director, who works closely with the Principal to ensure that the individual needs of students are met.
Qualifications for this position include:
* licensure or eligibility for a license as a Principal in New Hampshire;
* a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in school administration and/or educational leadership;
* a minimum of five years of successful teaching experience at the elementary and/or middle level, preferably in more than one grade level; and
* successful administrative experience at the elementary and/or middle level preferred.
Comparable levels of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
The School Administrative Unit #21 and Hampton Falls School District are offering a competitive compensation and benefits package for this leadership position, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The start date for the successful candidate will be July 1, 2026.
