As a Pharmacy Technician you will support pharmacy staff, fill prescriptions safely and accurately, and provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
• Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to help the team promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions.
• Assist with the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program until completion of all registration, licensing and certification requirements.
• Follow all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and uphold the highest professional and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Licensure requirements vary by state
- Attention and Focus: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
- Customer Service Orientation: actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner and respond appropriately to customer reactions
- Communication
Skills:
use and understand verbal and written communication, actively listen, and ask questions as appropriate - Mathematical Reasoning: ability to use math to solve a problem, such as calculating day’s supply of a prescription
- Problem Resolution: judge when something is wrong or likely to go wrong; choose the best course of action when faced with a complex situation
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods; moving on foot to accomplish tasks
- Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
- Stooping, bending and lifting occasional objects up to 30 lbs
- Visual acuity to perform tasks such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading and inspecting small parts
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Pay RangeTypical pay range for this role is $16.50 - $25.00 per hour.
